Dana Carvey's son Dex Carvey dead at 32 ... was found 'unresponsive'

Dana Carvey on Thursday said his son comedian Dex Carvey has died at the age of 32 from an accidental drug overdose.

'Last night we suffered a terrible tragedy,' the alum, 68, and his wife Paula said in a statement on Instagram. 'Our beloved son, Dex, died of an accidental drug overdose. He was 32 years old.

'Dex packed a lot into those 32 years. He was extremely talented at so many things - music, art, film making, comedy - and pursued all of them passionately.'
