UN Secretary-General Guterres expresses gratitude to President Erdoğan

During the phone call, UN Secretary-General Guterres thanked President Erdoğan for his attempts to mediate between Russia and Ukraine, as well as for his diplomatic efforts and for his activities contributing to peace.President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres. The call addressed international developments and regional issues, particularly the Russia-Ukraine war. President Erdoğan stated that Turkey was working hard in order for a ceasefire to be achieved in the Russia-Ukraine war and peace to be restored, and was making efforts regarding humanitarian aid and evacuations.
